One thought on “Billboard Country Airplay and Country Albums Chart (September 26th)”

  1. Unfortunately, the only reason “Strip It Down” didn’t climb on the chart this week was because there was a massive gap in audience last week between #7 and #8, as you probably saw. It still had a fairly large gain this week and will probably continue on its stupid payola-driven chart run next week. I expect the Top 10 to look somewhat like this:

    1. “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16”
    2. “Buy Me A Boat”
    3. “Save It For A Rainy Day”
    4. “Lose My Mind”
    5. “Strip It Down”
    6. “Crash And Burn”
    7. “Anything Goes”
    8. “Gonna Wanna Tonight”
    9. “Fly”
    10. “Break Up With Him”

Although “Fly” could possibly go recurrent next week, in which case “Let Me See Ya Girl” would probably get the #10 spot, and it would be without a doubt the worst Top 10 I’ve ever seen.
